St Moose blows away My Pal Shawn in feature race of ‘VI Classic’
SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- In what turned out to be a two-horse battle after other challengers pulled out, the feature race of the VI Classic saw St Moose of St Croix overcome Tortola’s My Pal Shawn at Ellis Thomas Downs in Sea Cows Bay moments ago, January 17, 2016.
Doughmaker out for at least 3 months
SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI – Championship horse owner Violet ‘Letty’ Hodge said history was made in the Virgin Islands when a successful equine surgery was performed on champion horse Doughmaker to remove a bone chip in one of its legs. As a result of the surgery, Doughmaker will be out of action for at least three months.
