‘Stress relief’ Kite Flying Extravaganza draws the crowd
WICKHAM’S CAY I, Tortola, VI- The annual Kite Flying Extravaganza organised by the Guyanese Association of the BVI has been held annually for over 25 years and this year again saw a large crowd converging on Wickham’s Cay I, on the main island of Tortola, for the activity on Monday, April 2, 2018.
Traditional kite flying event returns to Wickham's Cay I
WICKHAM’S CAY I, Tortola, VI- The traditional kite flying extravaganza hosted by the Guyanese Association of the BVI returned to Wickham’s Cay I on Easter Monday, March 28, 2016 after it was relocated last year to Duff’s Bottom due to the unavailability of the usual area owing to construction work on the Tortola Pier Park.
Kite-flying will return to cruise pier next year! – Hon Vanterpool
DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – Minister for Communications and Works Honourable Mark H. Vanterpool (R4) has promised that for Easter 2016, the Guyanese Association of the BVI will be able to return to the cruise pier to host its annual kite-flying extravaganza.
