UPDATE: Steve Fossi gets non-custodial sentence
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Steve Fossi, the boat captain convicted of manslaughter for the death of two persons following a boat accident off Virgin Gorda on January 24, 2015, was today February 24, 2016 fined $45,000 for each count.
Fossi consumed alcohol on day of fateful accident- Court told
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Today February 22, 2016, Justice Nicola Byer and members of the Jury heard closing arguments of both the Prosecution, lead by Crown Counsel Valston Graham and defence attorney Rebecca Trowler in the manslaughter case against Steve Fossi, the boat captain at the centre of an investigation following an accident on January 24, 2015.
UPDATE: Steve Fossi diagnosed with PTSD following boat accident
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – As the case of manslaughter against Steve Fossi comes to a close, the Jury heard testimony by way of video conferencing from a psychologist who has diagnosed Fossi with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), the wartime mental condition brought on by experiencing a severe stress or traumatic event.
