Gold, Silver & Bronze for VI at Barranquilla 2018 CAC Games

BARRANQUILLA, Colombia, SA – With one day of competition remaining for the Virgin Islands’ (VI) athletes at the 23rd Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games in Barranquilla, Colombia, the Territory’s senior athletes have set new records for the Games and for the nation so far as they secure three medals of gold, silver and bronze.

LEONORA, Guyana- Competing at the 2nd annual Aliann Pompey Invitational Track and Field Meet in Guyana as a tune up for the IAAF World Athletics Championships in London next month, the Virgin Islands’ Ashley N. Kelly sprinted to gold in the 400m Finals on July 15, 2017.

McMaster stumbles to 2nd in London

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After a strong first 200m in which he opened up a solid lead on the competition, the Virgin Islands’ Kyron A. McMaster stumbled after going over the second to last hurdle and was caught on the line by Olympic champion Kerron Clement in the Men’s 400m Hurdles at the Muller Anniversary Games at the London Olympic Stadium on July 9, 2017.
