CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI— A man accused of trying to rob an elderly woman appeared in court to face theft and weapons charges.

PASEA ESTATE, Tortola, VI- An armed robbery on Delta Petroleum (Caribbean) Limited's Service Station in Pasea Estate, on the main island of Tortola early this morning, July 11, 2017 was thwarted when the firearm of the two bandits apparently jammed.
9 years in jail for Matthew D. Hazell
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After being found guilty on March 31, 2017 of attempted murder, attempted robbery, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition, Matthew D. Hazell was today, May 15, 2017 sentenced to nine years in prison by Justice Nicola P. Byer.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Matthew Darrel Hazell was today, July 20, 2016, granted bail in the sum of $200,000, of which $40, 000 must be paid in cash.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) said that based on the advice of the Director of Public Prosecutions, the Major Crime detectives today February 24, 2015 have charged Matthew D. Hazell, 23, of Paraquita Bay with attempted murder and attempted robbery.
