13 years later, Millions spent on ASSI, still no Civil Aviation Dept for VI
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After some 13 years (2004) since the ruling National Democratic Party (NDP) killed the government Civil Aviation Department and allowed the British based Air Safety Support International (ASSI) to be the Virgin Islands Regulator of the civil aviation industry, there is little hope of the Government Department returning.
