Musical festivals a well known & effective strategy to increase visitors - Premier
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Sharing statistics on tourism arrivals in the Virgin Islands, Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) says one of the aims of the 3 day upcoming Virgin Islands (VI) Music festival is to increase tourism numbers in the month of May 2024, which has shown a history of low tourist arrivals based on stats from 2023.
St Kitts Music Fest providing exclusive cannabis smoking zones
BASSETERRE, St Kitts– Cannabis smokers will be allowed an exclusive zone at this year’s 2023 St Kitts Music Festival called a ‘420-Friendly’ festival, after St Kitts and Nevis lawmakers passed the Smoking (Designated Areas) Bill, 2023, in their National Assembly on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
UPDATE: VI Music Festival 2014 given the axe!
CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI – Coordinators of the popular Music Festival have announced their worse fear, that there will be no music festival in the customary and traditional style this year. This was announced moments ago via a press release which outlined that the event is being rebranded and will come off in 2015.
