Bikers call for protest ride through city!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Some biking enthusiasts of the Virgin Islands have called for a massive ‘ride through’ of Road Town on scooters in protest to what they refer to as archaic laws regarding the restrictions on importation of motorcycles above an engine capacity of 125 cc and in an effort to get the authorities to listen to their concerns.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – “I personally believe that the legislation that is currently on our books needs to be addressed, said Chief Inspector of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) Mr Kenrick Headley, blaming such weakness for the traffic woes in the Territory.
RVIPF seeks support for law abiding scooter operation
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Operations by officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force within the last two months has resulted in the seizure of ten cycles – five oversized motorbikes and five scooters -- for not being licenced, insured and registered; none of the scooter riders were, at the time of the seizure, wearing helmets.
