To encourage residents to save energy and money, the BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) is dedicating the month of June to conserving energy.
No “immediate” impact expected on fuel price or electric bill from Hovensa closing
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Customers can breathe a sigh of relief for the next five months, as assurances have been given from the BVI Electricity Corporation that their utility charges will not fluctuate based on the closing of the Hovensa Oil Refinery in St. Croix while fuel prices at the pumps is also expected to remain the same during that period.
