CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI- A plane belonging to the airline Sea Flight was forced to perform an emergency landing in waters between St Croix and St Thomas, US Virgin Islands (USVI) following problems the aircraft experienced, though what exactly caused the emergency landing remained unclear as of Thursday morning, January 23, 2020.

Barnes, the [US] Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA) director, rebuked lawmakers who make up the Committee on Homeland Security, Justice and Public Safety, while explaining at length in a prepared testimony, why she missed a Senate hearing after she was subpoenaed to attend (Ms Barnes said she was not served the first time she was subpoenaed).

'Bomb threat' on VI & USVI may not be credible- VITEMA

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The (US) Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA) believes the alleged plot to blow up the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island, Virgin Islands as well as airports in the US Virgin Islands (USVI) may not be credible and its ports continue to operate at the normal level of security with no changes in scheduled flights into and out of the territory.

Explosion, Flames Engulf Gasworks Station in Bovoni
