DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – Not being present to witness performances by some 15 persons who intended to make it through to the finals of this year’s Emancipations Festivals competition was unfortunate, as it was a night that those present did enjoy as they got a sip of bigger things to come on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at the Festival Ground.
‘Who is Next’ expected to be fantastic showcase of VI talent- Dr Archer
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- One of the judges for Follow The Movement’s Top 7@7 ‘Who is Next’ event, Dr Allison Flax- Archer, has expressed immense satisfaction with the quality of performances so far in the elimination round and believes the second round will be a ‘fantastic showcase of Virgin Islands’ talent.
UPDATE: Finalists announced for 1st VI Soca Monarch
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The organising committee for the first ever Soca Monarch competition to be held in the Virgin Islands as a key activity of this year’s Festival has released the names of the finalists.
