‘NDP Gov't paranoid with power’ – Hon Andrew A. Fahie
CARROT BAY, Tortola, VI – Representative for the First District Honourable Andrew A. Fahie has accused the National Democratic Party (NDP) government of being so paranoid with power that it is going to the extent of invading on citizens' privacy. The senior Virgin Islands Party (VIP) member also said the NDP's continued practice of bypassing District Representatives who are on the Opposition could have repercussions.

Orlando Smith has maintained his stance that the Virgin Islands is not being forced or coerced into finalising an Inter-Governmental Agreement (IGA) with the United States under the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) but instead his government is of the opinion that cooperating is what is best for the territory.
