UPDATE: Premier Smith denies Govt ‘walked out’ of HOA
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Virgin Islands Parliament, known as the House of Assembly (HOA), for the first time in its history experienced a ‘Walk out’ by the Government in power when the ruling National Democratic Party (NDP), led by Premier Dr the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, exited the HOA without seeking an adjournment today, July 26, 2013.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- In what could be considered a case of ‘who feels it knows it’, the majority of businesses in the Virgin Islands are not in support of Premier Dr the Honourable D. Orlando Smith’s recent statement in the House of Assembly that the economy was not failing.
