Territory’s primary school students get historical tour of Main Street
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Many of them probably use Main Street almost every day and it may have not been the first time for any of the students either, however, today’s (May 16, 2013) walk through Main Street was one of enlightenment and fascination as students from primary schools across the Territory were given a historical tour of one of the most popular streets in the Virgin Islands.
2013 Festival Theme & Slogan announced
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The theme for the Virgin Islands Festival 2013 is ‘Looking back at 175 years of being fully free, Our Culture, Our Heritage and Virgin Islands History’. This, along with the festival’s slogan, was made known today April 30, 2013 at a press conference called by the Virgin Islands Festival and Fairs Committee (VIF&FC).
