‘Inspector’ Francia V. James-Liburd given fitting send off
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Police Officer Francia Veronica James-Liburd aka ‘Krazy’ or ‘Francine’, who died on October 6, 2017, was given a sendoff yesterday, November 7, 2017 befitting of an ‘Inspector’.
UPDATE: Gumbs gets one year sentence for wounding police officer
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Marvin Gumbs of no fixed place of abode was sentenced by Senior Magistrate Tamia Richards to 12 months in prison on charges of wounding a Police Officer and 9 months in prison on charges of common assault when he appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on September 27, 2013.
