Prominent VI lawyer’s son gets 10 years in jail for rape
MANHATTAN, New York, USA- 23-year-old George Fay, whose father is a well-known figure in the judicial system in the Virgin Islands, was sentenced on Tuesday April 17, 2018 to 10 years in prison for raping a sleeping woman in an Upper East Side, New York apartment.
HLSCC student wins SOL Free Fuel for a Year promotion
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Dandra T. Vanterpool, 22, of Horse Path, an employee of the Sterling Group BVI Ltd as well as a Business Administration student of the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC), is the winner of the SOL Free Fuel for a Year promotion.

Positive, aggressive, determined, ambitious and humble are just a few words that best describe our young professional for this week. This is a young man who was most willing to share his story with the rest of the world, although more directly to the youths of his homeland Virgin Gorda and the wider Virgin Islands. His intentions were all pure as he said he sees this medium as a great avenue of being an inspiration to others as opposed to promoting himself.
