When he looks into their tiny eyes, listens to their silent voices, clicks a finger to bring them to focus on what’s happening in class, when he has to take a little extra time with some and less time with others, he is convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that his calling is to be in a classroom teaching music and to have that as his lifelong profession.

He is capable of hushing a tiny baby to sleep, awakening the late lazy sleeper, serenading the Queen of all queens, mending broken hearts, and wowing the largest crowd.
