To politicise ‘Fast Track’ immigration matter was very distasteful - Hon Wheatley
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Ninth District Representative and Virgin Islands Party (VIP) Candidate Hon Vincent O. Wheatley has criticised those whom he referred to as, blowing the Fast Track immigration matter out of proportion, calling it a simple matter that just needed validation in the House of Assembly.

Wheatley (R9) says come 2020, only "fit and proper" individuals will be allowed to enter and work in the VI.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - After holding some seven public meetings and several private ones on the ‘Clear path to regularisation: Residency and Belonger Status Programme,’ and taking into consideration the recommendations from the people, the Government of the Virgin Islands (VI), led by Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew A. Fahie (R1) has decided to increase the years to qualify for status under the programme.
