Female, 21, arrested for alleged murder of Trumayne J. Daway

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Police have made an arrest as investigations continue into the murder of 26 year old Trumayne J. Daway aka 'Passion'.

Daway was found shot to death in his SUV, with number plate: PL 630, at Brandywine Bay in the wee hours of Wednesday February 28, 2018.

“Police have arrested a 21-year-old female on suspicion of murder in the case of Trumayne Daway,” Police Information Officer Diane L. Drayton said this morning, March 3, 2018.

This news site will bring more information on the arrest once it becomes available.

The killing of Daway brought to three the total gun killings in the month of February 2018.

      A crime in this case a murder is solved when an accused person is arrested , charged and convicted for that crime. My innard biases tells me that this person will be released before being charged. Good work by the COPS though at least they made a start. To the family of the deceased keep hoping for justice.

    if she is an accomplice so be it. As most of the criminal activities women are used. A series of death in a particular island women were involved where they were uses to call victims on their phones and told to meet at a particular spot and the perpetrators carry out their acts.Unfortunately one or two died in the act as they maybe in a compromise position with victim and they too are blast with bullets. Sometimes they are dead and the targetted gets away. People we just have to be vigilant and careful in life and walk with light spirit you never who where when and why

      The article does not say that she is the killer.
      And if she got him there as you've said, lured him, she is involved in his murder which is not really different and with the right lawyer she might as well have pulled the trigger.

      How you know is the wrong person they got? They had to follow some kind of lead to at least pick her up. If she got him there knowing what was gonna happen to him she is just as guilty as the shooter. Don't swear for a soul unless you were there!     Do you remember or have you forgotten that many times the police brings in people for questioning and released them? They may just want her DNA , fingerprints, or see if she breaks under pressure. The article didn't say she was charged. It says "arrested on suspicion of murder" you need to read. Suspicion is not a charge. And all she had to do is say nothing. Then what? Even if charged, court is the proving ground, not the media.

      Exactly, she was the kids nanny. Just imagine You get home and find your young kids in the bath tub with their throats cut and stabbed up. When that Santo is sentenced and she is sent to Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for woman, she is going to get skinned alive. She tried to pull the crazy défense but it did not work.
