St John man sentenced to 10 years for biting piece of man’s ear off

CRUZ BAY, St John, USVI- Ten years in prison was the sentence US Virgin Islands (USVI) Superior Court Judge Kathleen Mackay on Tuesday March 22, 2018 handed down on Emanuel Greer of Calabash Boom, St John, for an ear-biting incident that occurred a little less than two years ago, USVI Department of Justice Public Media Officer Corliss Smithen has announced.

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI— The [US] Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) on Thursday, March 8, 2018 said Jelani Marcus Hall, 28, was arrested and charged with first-degree unlawful sexual contact, after it was reported — and investigated, according to police — that Mr Hall, on several occasions, had sexually assaulted two minors.
