Antiguan who allegedly stabbed wife to stand trial Nov. 21
Samuel James, 41, is charged with attempted murder and wounding with intent. He has pleaded not guilty to the offences.
James allegedly committed the acts when he was on a restraining order to stay away from his wife. He and the wife have four children.
According to court records, he allegedly stabbed his wife repeatedly at their Jennings Hill home on April 13, 2011 with a knife and as a result she sustained stab wounds to her face and the upper region of her body.
It is alleged that the act was committed while the children were at home.
James, who is on remand, is represented by Duane Jean Baptiste.
