AA cancels USVI flights to & from Miami due to Hurricane Matthew

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI- American Airlines has canceled several flights to and from Miami, Florida on October 6, 2016 due to Hurricane Matthew, Virgin Islands Port Authority Executive Director Carlton Dowe announced late Wednesday October 5, 2016.

While most flights will arrive to the territory from Miami, several departures have been canceled.

Mr.  Dowe said American Airlines provided V.I.P.A. with the following flight information:

        When people in the BVI will learn sense .This is a serious hurricane and you all are joking. We are praying for all who are in the path of the HURRICANE . Families and friends in ORLANDO stay safe.

          I live in Orlando. Disney World is closed. People in Tortola think everything is a joke. Rushing to get food supplies and making sure the house is secure. People, for real, this storm is no joke. If it was hitting Tortola, you all would be afraid.
