ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Offering a warm welcome to tourists ahead of today’s December 1, 2020, reopening of the Virgin Islands tourism sector, Premier and Minister of Finance (R1), Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) says the territory is now open and ready for an influx of tourist arrivals.

Speaking at the November 29, 2020, BVI Airports Authority (BVIAA) official re-opening ceremony, the Premier said the border reopening coincides with changes that will reflect that "we are ready for you.”

“The Government of the Virgin Islands has taken a brief hiatus to ensure that we implement health and safety protocols to keep you and our residents safe. We have strategically revised our legislations, improved our medical facilities with equipment, human resources and other tools needed to ensure that we are equipped to manage your health. We are ready for you,” he said.

In his message to tourists, the Premier further said health and safety remain the number one priority and, as a result, businesses in the territory have made adjustments to make washing sanitisation stations, enforcing physical distancing and the wearing of masks and face shields for entry to business establishments.

Tourists can expect BVI LOVE - Premier Fahie

“Our ports of entry and other high traffic public spaces have improved their infrastructure to include contactless services, hands-free automated doors, protection barriers and more. We are ready for you.”

Premier Fahie said the VI’s tourism partners and the rest of the hospitality businesses are also ready with Gold Seal Certified facilities and well-trained workers to cater to the needs of tourists.

Further, the Premier said visitors will experience a ‘BVI welcome' via a new welcome centre designed with a lounge, swabbing station, isolation rooms and touchless restrooms facilities.

He said from the airport to the taxi, to their accommodations, tourists can expect ‘BVI LOVE’ in the era of COVID-19.

Rubber duckie, who on earth is the U.S to grade our little islands in the Caribbean. They want to dictate the rest of the world while they cant out the fire in their own backyards. Where is the most unsafe place in the world to travel to right now? you got it right! they should issue a travel advisory against themselves. They are worse than pot calling the kettle black. They do not rule the world and they definitely don't rule here. Life is more than going U.S to buy a little cheap shoes and bag.

"We are not yet out of the ( Covid-19) woods." God is the Way, the Truth, and the source of all life. He alone has the ability to lead us out of the mangled, and tangled life taking and life threatening Covid-19 woods of death.
The above statements written above are known fact by every honest minded B.V.I Islanders, and others that keep up with the progress that have been made, so far, against Covid-19 deadly effects against humanity, and the world's economies, including our own.
The best way to (eil) is to first know that there is no existing best way to speak (seil). Got it? Honesty is the law of Godly, selfless love. Got it Mr. ... I Hope you do. GOD'S LOVE OVER/ B.V.I love every time. Agree? Love.
