Vincy man arrested after package containing marijuana shipped to him
According to reports reaching our newsroom, customs officials had reported that there was a suspicious package at Port Purcell with suspected cannabis.
The package had allegedly arrived on a vessel named Queen Elizabeth II. It is unclear to our newsroom at this time where the vessel had arrived from.
The said 'suspicious' package, along with other packages, was allegedly addressed to Zawdie Daniel and opened in his presence.
Our newsroom was told that 2 plastic wrapped packages were found in a crocus bag that contained general purpose feed. What appeared to be a green vegetable matter, suspected to be cannabis was found in the plastic wrapped packages.
Daniel was arrested on suspicion of Importation of Controlled Drug.
The drugs were said to weigh 1.42kg.
According to reports, it was also discovered that Daniels had overstayed his landing permit and was also charged for that offence.

Smoke the tobacco and drink up those beers at the pub.
Can’t take a thing seriously from the top until they start acting as if they have common sense and are not following the script of oppressors.
Why waste money on a court trial, please sent him back to St, Vincent and the Grenadines.
