ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Virgin Islands (VI) may experience heavy rainfall and thunderstorms this weekend, the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) has informed.

According to the DDM today, November 4, 2022, based on the latest forecast information rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches are possible.

It said Virgin Islands’ residents should closely monitor updates in case flash flood conditions develop.

High chances of showers & thunderstorms today

Meanwhile, DDM said moisture and instability associated with the trough system building over the region will heighten the chances of showers and thunderstorms over the islands.

Weather today: Cloudy with showers with a 70 percent chance or possibility of thunderstorms.

Weather tonight: Overcast with showers and a 70 percent or possibility chance of thunderstorms.

Winds: Southeast at 13 to 22 km/h or 8 to 14 mph.

Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres or 3 to 5 feet.

Sunset today:  5:45 pm.

    Call me weird but this is my type of weather. Got everything that I need, shutting the world out this Weekend, just me, my dog, a few glass of my favorite red and Netflix.

      Sometimes you have to shut the world out especially here with so much things going on in this small place. Sometimes you just don’t want to see or talk to anyone. I would agree the blogger was disrespectful and rude in response to the bloggers comment about staying in this weekend.
