VI hammer Bahamas 6-0 in CONCACAF international football friendly

GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands- After beating Cayman Islands 2-1 on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, the Virgin Islands returned to Truman Boden Sports Complex in Grand Cayman to storm past the Bahamas, 6-0, in the second game of their CONCACAF international football friendly series on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

Jovaun Splatt, who was one of the goal scorers on Wednesday, netted a hat-trick in a historic performance for the Virgin Islands senior national team.

Luka E. Chalwell was also again on target.

The other goal scorers for the Virgin Islands were Kyran Samadi and Kristian Javier.

The Virgin Islands senior football team snapped a long run of going winless when they beat the Cayman Islands and have now registered one of the largest margins of victory.

It was also the first victory for the Virgin Islands over the Bahamas in nearly two decades.
