'An absolute joy'- WINBVI Director

In a Facebook post by Mrs British Virgin Islands, WINBVI Director Alicia Green stated that the two women represented the Virgin Islands with pride, stating, "Watching these women represent the British Virgin Islands on the world stage has been an absolute joy. They carried our flag with pride, dignity, and authenticity. Their accomplishments are well deserved, and we couldn't be prouder of the way they showcased the strength, beauty, resilience, and spirit of BVI women. Shakima's People's Choice victory is especially meaningful, and Kimberly's Humanitarian Award speaks volumes about the calibre of women we continue to produce and support through this organisation."

In addition to Baptiste-Henry and Herbert's achievements, the husband of Baptiste-Henry, Mr Jermaine Henry, aka 'Mr Alpha Fitness', was nominated for Husband of the Year at the event for supporting his queen every step of the way.

WINBVI said Mr Henry's unwavering encouragement, love, and partnership exemplify the importance of a strong support system, and WINBVI is "proud to see him recognised on the international stage as well".
