VI shines @Mrs Globe Pageant's Awards

CALIFORNIA, USA- WINBVI Ambassadors Shackema Baptiste-Henry and Kimberly A. Herbert have received international recognition after winning awards at the Mrs Globe Pageants Awards event on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

Both women proudly represent the Virgin Islands at this prestigious international competition, having been crowned Mrs BVI Curvé Globe and Mrs BVI Globe earlier this year.

Awards

Shackema Baptiste-Henry received the Most Charismatic Award, which recognises her outstanding presence, confidence, and ability to connect with audiences.  

Kimberly Herbert was honoured with the prestigious Humanitarian Award, reflecting her unwavering commitment to community service and advocacy.  

Additionally, Shackema Baptiste-Henry placed in the Top 3 for Best Evening Gown, showcasing her elegance and poise on the international stage. In a delightful nod to support, her husband, Jermaine Henry, was nominated for Husband of the Year, highlighting the important role that partners play in the success of pageant delegates.

In a Facebook post by the Mrs British Virgin Islands page, it was stated, "These early achievements are a proud reflection of the talent, service, and spirit that both ambassadors bring as they represent the Virgin Islands before a global audience. The entire BVI community joins in congratulating Kimberly and Shackema on their outstanding accomplishments and wishes them continued success throughout the remainder of the competition.”

    It’s so inspiring to see the VI community shining on such a massive global stage like Mrs. Globe! I’ve been following the updates all morning, just taking short breaks to play some Quick Games to keep my energy up. Proud moment!
