ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- In a match that will put aside any doubts and “long talking”, the 2025 King of the Courts Caribbean Champions VG Bayside Blazers will be challenged by USVI Elites in a lucrative clash on June 21, 2025, to determine who is the “real” King of the Courts.

The game to be played at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex for a cash prize of $20,000.00 was announced by the organisers of King of the Courts on their Facebook page on Monday, June 9, 2025.

USVI Elites recently proved their point well against Tola when they faced off in a ‘King of the Courts’ rematch at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

The USVI ran out 100-91 winners in front of a large crowd to take the $7500.00 purse and hopefully settle all beef from the recent King of the Courts Caribbean Championships, where they made allegations of being robbed of victory against Tola in the semi-finals.

Tola would then lose to VG Bayside Blazers by 20 points in the final.

'The What If Game- The Final Chapter'

“What if that shot was a 4? What if USVI played in the finals? The dust was settled in the replay game and now, Sat June 21st Multipurpose Complex KOTC present to you "The What If Game" The Final Chapter, featuring VG Bayside Blazers vs USVI Elites!! One game! 20k cash prize! No more long talking! Load the boats USVI, load the boats Virgin Gorda and let’s make history!! More details to come!!” KOTC organisers posted on their Facebook page.

The game is billed to be a clash of two powerhouses, although VG Bayside Blazers have nothing to prove since they have already been crowned champions and even defeated USVI Elites in the group stage.

The VG Bayside Blazers, who were sponsored by Biras Creek Resort and Marina and managed by former Speaker Julian Willock, overcame the star-studded 2024 champions, 82-73, on May 15, 2025.

VG Bayside Blazers ended the tournament unbeaten.

Nevertheless, the clash is expected to take on a VI vs USVI theme, and another jam-packed crowd is expected to witness the showdown on June 21, 2025.

That would be nice. VG investors needs to invest in an up to date indoor court. This will be a game to watch, Tola isn’t in anything.

So Steve finally put on a successful event. Now he is going to kill it? Like who want to see the USVI play a 3rd time in less than w months? He is really pushing it and killing the zest. It's best he leave this game until after the festival activities.
