WASHINGTON D.C., USA- Delegate to Congress Stacey Plaskett has filed a civil complaint against law firm Duane Morris over billing confusion.

The terse, 2-page lawsuit dated December 14 claims that the firm sent Ms. Plaskett “multiple billings for legal services which…upon review, are unclear and which appear to include amounts and items that may not be due or are not in fact owed.”

Multiple Duane Morris attorneys represented Ms. Plaskett in an Epstein-linked lawsuit filed by several anonymous women in 2023. The case against all other defendants was dismissed in March, while Ms. Plaskett settled with the plaintiffs in August of this year.

Now, she is asking the court to order a full accounting of the bills issued to her by the law firm. The court is also asked to declare that any incorrect billing amounts are not owed by Ms. Plaskett.

As of press time, Duane Morris has not filed a replay to Ms. Plaskett's complaint.
