USVI: 2 women, 1 man injured during Carlos Bar shooting
CHRISTIANSTED, St. Croix, USVI- The V.I. Police Department is investigating a violent shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in the vicinity of Carlos Bar on St. Croix, which left three individuals hospitalized.
According to the VIPD, the 911 Emergency Call Center received reports of gunfire at approximately 4:06 a.m. on June 8, prompting an immediate response from officers. Upon arriving at the scene, officers observed multiple spent shell casings scattered across the parking lot of the establishment.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Bureau traveled to the Juan F. Luis Hospital emergency room, where three victims—two adult women and one adult man—had already been transported by private vehicle. Each victim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. All three are reported to be in stable condition at this time.
No suspects yet; investigations continue
The scale of the incident was underscored by the recovery of over 60 spent shell casings at the scene. However, no suspects have yet been identified or taken into custody.
The VIPD confirmed that this remains an active investigation and is urging members of the public who may have information to come forward.
