It is funny to say when children born in the USA from local parents they are bv-islander cause there have all the right , until the get caught up with law they are automatically back to being a US CITIZEN and they forget they are bv-islander .unlike the children born from the so call expatriate who was born in the bvi and live all their life here are outsiders .
Someone please tell me is it where you born you from
Ir where your parents from that where you from
    Which one is correct.

As a child is born here it automatically takes the nationality at least of its mother. So the BVI immigrant child nationailty is the same as the mother. Children can born all over. Stop hating on BVIslanders. You are a guest in this country - at least for now.

Difference is that offsprings of bona-fide VIslanders do not feel insulted embarrassed humiliated rejected disenfranchised attacked belittled and much more,by being identified as a BVIslander or as a USCitizen. They are unfazed and proudly wear both nationalities. Unlike that other demographic whose being is undercover with a mortal fear of their origin being identified . A result of the unseemly character performances of they and their kins, wherever they settle and the inability or perhaps refusal to make an effective change in their favour.
If your grandparents are born VIslanders then you are safely a VIslander and your surname is and has been part of the US and BVI census for many moons.

So true. After he did his time he will be right here living with his parents where he grew up.
He was only born in St. Thomas, but never live there.
Then again if he had committed a murder then he would have gotten extradite to St. Thomas after he did his time.
Just like how D.A got extradited back to Guyana.

Honestly this can't be compared to DA.
The different is DA came here young as a child and he only grew up here from parents that are outside so it different when you from here and go away just to give birth

If he is a US citizen then why is he not being sent back there? If it is correct that he only born in St Thomas (presumably for citizenship) well maybe that chicken come home to roost and he can go live there if he cant abide by the BVI laws

Live in the US or US Territories in the VI on your family owned property....We should all be so blessed.
Unlike the expats and children of expats who have knowingly and jam-packed Balo and praying not to be deported .

Maybe he should have thought about those rights he has before he decided to allegedly carry an unlicensed gun.
