UPDATE: Jahnai Pickering charged in connection with boat chase @ West End
Jahnai Pickering, 25, of Spooners Estate will face the offences of possession of proceeds of criminal conduct and unlawful possession of a controlled substance after his apprehension and a subsequent search uncovered a quantity of cash and drugs.
This is according to a press release from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) this evening, August 24, 2022.
A joint operation between the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force and US authorities resulted in a boat chase by Federal agents which ended in Frenchman’s Cay on the western end of Tortola.
The lone occupant was taken into custody.
Since investigations are still very active, police said no other information can be released at this time.

One arrested following boat chase involving US Feds
One person was arrested yesterday afternoon, August 22, 2022, when a boat chase involving local and US authorities ended near the Frenchman’s Cay Bridge.
According to reports reaching our newsroom, the incident took place just after 5:00 pm.
Law enforcement authorities were seen searching the single-engine powerboat, as a crowd converged on the Frenchman’s Cay Bridge.
It appears as though the powerboat was ‘hotwired’ before it was removed from the Frenchman’s Cay area around 6:45 pm.
It is unclear whether the boat was taken to US Virgin Islands or to the Police Marine Base at Road Reef.
“One person is presently in custody. The operation is still live and ongoing therefore no other information can be provided at this time,” the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) briefly stated on August 22, 2022.
The RVIPF also confirmed that the pursuit was a joint operation involving RVIPF and US Federal authorities.

I remember when F**** and his gang was giving out STCW licenses to thess young boys like free turkey and ham on Christmas day. Now it's all making sense why he and his gang did what they did. From the arrested the Coach and in the process of extriditing the Chairman of the board to the states, the small hustlers are getting caught and the crimes(murders, robberies, and scooters) on the streets have been reduced significantly.. Alot of police and custom officers as well of some of those high level government officials, contractors, trucking companies and business owners etc need to be investigated.
