UPDATE: Fat Hogs Bay youth pleads guilty to firearm & ammo charges
Frederick was arrested and charged on November 21, 2022, after police searched an establishment in the Long Look area of Tortola and discovered the firearm and ammunition.
The young man was also charged for common assault but pleaded not guilty to that charge.
Frederick, who was unrepresented in court today, is to be sentenced in January 2023.

Firearm & ammo seized in Long Look; Fat Hogs Bay youth charged
Officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force seized yet another firearm following an operation yesterday, November 21, 2022, at an establishment in the Long Look area of Tortola.
Charged with keeping a firearm without a license, unlawful possession of ammunition and common assault is Dimar Frederick, 23, of Fat Hogs Bay.
According to a press release from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) today, November 22, 2022, Frederick is to appear in court at the next available sitting.
The recovery of this revolver follows a string of firearm seizures, including two prohibited, high-powered assault rifles and the confiscation of a quantity of ammunition and cash at a residence in Harrigan Estate in less than a week.

whatever happened to that off island police officer yes the one that was part of that special squad and used is position as a law enforcement officer and knowing assisted in the transporting of unlawful substances: out on bail and simply vanished from road town and not one word from the commissioner of police
