Suspected getaway vehicle for Pier Park robbers recovered- RVIPF

WICKHAM’S CAY 1, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has said it has recovered a vehicle it believes was used by armed robbers who stormed House of Luxury on Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

Shots were fired during the robbery, which took place around 3:30 PM; however, no one was hurt.

‘Similar vehicle’ recovered

The masked gunmen reportedly grabbed a quantity of jewellery before making their escape in a vehicle.

“The RVIPF has recovered a vehicle similar to the one believed to have been used in the armed robbery that occurred on 20th May 2026,” the RVIPF stated in a press release today, May 21, 2026.

A description of the vehicle was not given.

Police said investigations into the matter remain ongoing as officers continue to pursue several leads.

    Believe that the vehicle used was stolen just as slow as carb. Like come on. That vehicle was not stolen it was used for the purpose. Tola so full of criminals it’s sickening.
