ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has announced a temporary suspension of the acceptance of Visa Waiver applications, that will take effect from Friday, July 28, 2023.

Police further said the service will resume on Monday, August 14, 2023, while announcing that during the temporary suspension, no new visa waiver applications will be accepted.

Police said, however, that applications submitted on or before the cutoff date, will be processed within 10 business days and that persons will be contacted as normal.

The force apologized for the inconvenience and detailed that the suspension of the service comes in an effort to streamline and deliver efficient and reliable visa waiver services.

RVIPF added that exceptions will be made for Medical Emergencies, however, the applications must be accompanied with the appropriate documentation.
