ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A man convicted of indecent assault has been ordered deported from the territory by Acting Governor David D. Archer Jr.
Rafael Armando Escaria Sabino, who is deemed not to belong to the territory, was ordered deported by Acting Governor David D. Archer Jr, according to Statutory Instrument 2026 NO. 53, dated September 23, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette on September 29, 2026.
According to the Deportation Order, Sabino is a person whose presence in the Territory would, in the opinion of the Acting Governor, acting after consultation with the Chief Immigration Officer, be undesirable and not conducive to the public good.
The Instrument did not disclose the nationality of Mr Sabino.
