House prisoners on the Islands of they or their parents origin.,in addition to these prisons more effective with rehab, the environment will offer a better understanding of a prisoners identity and culture. They would also be given an opportunity to connect with their relatjves. Moneys spent for police en masse to come to the VI , it would be cost effective nd socially responsible, for the prisoner to be forwarded.
The VI prison is currently full to capacity and unless the demographic of the VI is changed ,we will continue to pay to the extreme and in many ways an are which include our economy.
The next minute we're told that the UK should house the BVI's toughest criminals. I am sure the UK would be happy to consider such an arrangement on a paid basis. The cost of housing prisoners is about $65,500 per year.
I’m waiting for the inquiry into what Gus did in respect of the prison which fell under his portfolio and also in respect of the Police.
