Miss British Virgin Islands 2012 –Sharie De Castro

Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one’s gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart. For as long as there is a memory, they’ll live on in our hearts.

The BVI has lost a true star in that of Mrs Sadie Sargeant-Winter, as the reigning Miss British Virgin Islands, I take this opportunity to express my deepest sympathy to her family, friends and the BVI community during this time. May the peace of God be with you and comfort you through your sadness.

During her reign as Festival Queen she represented the BVI well. Therefore her work has paved the way for me & her name will always be recorded in BVI history as one who made a difference. Take solace in the knowledge that she is in a much better place, as to be absent from the body is to be present with Christ.
