ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- While many attended the Rise and Shine Tramp in Road Town this morning, August 4, 2025, to just dance and have a grand time, at least one person thought it necessary to carry a firearm to the mass party.

Hope they went home and bathe off the funk before they head back out on the street. One of my neighbors come knocking on my door asking me if I can spare a bucket of water after Jovay was over because her pipes is dry. My answer was no, I don’t have any extra water to spare. My cistern water is for me and my two children only.

Sooo we have a young man attending jouvert with a gun

Prior to that at mali don night or the night after that there was a Guy at festival village with a gun that police followed to a club and took it.

And them some other festival night we had a fight amongst attendees who brought a stabbing object and stabbed a police officer for trying to part the fight....

Hey young people a quick question..... Is this part of the culture y'all bravely defending? QTNA

These events attract smokers, alcoholics, minors unfortunately, criminals, drug man, scandalous women etc etc etc and when police or elders try to enforce some self respect, morals, laws etc the young people jump up and cry. Well guess what the criminals love that so gas up the events with more smoking , more reckless behaviour, more half naked women and minors, more alcohol, more ghetto women, more vulgar songs about sex drugs violence and gangs! Enjoy!

Still unbelievable that festival committee didn't want police presence at festivals this year.... And look police alrdy caught two firearms red headed so imagine with zero officers there! Wether working or off duty! Pure chaos but hey young people love chaos it seems
. Heck I even saw kids who look like them under 12 in the heat of the crowd of jueve.....that's ridiculous

Some of y'all just attending these events to have honest fun but please understand that these events attract criminals... Criminals love half naked women who don't respect them self, criminals love weed, criminals love rum , criminals love vulgarness, criminals love, criminals love y'all bring a set of cash to party etc etc so if you want to promote these things criminals love and attend these events just understand what will be coming with it.

Let's give the young people 2 years of festival back to back with no police, no elders nagging them, and any vulgar artist them want with no restrictions for minors and watch things play out. I bet you them get a lil sense then.... We literally had a minor passed out from rum during juve and had to rush to hospital.... But hey this the new culture.

Lol wait till y'all see the photos of dudes dressed up with balloon guns and a cloth covering them face like a gun man

Something's I don't think you should joke about but young people clearly don't care and love to big up criminal life

Big chains , gun man mask covering them face or cloth and a balloon gun. Like wow. Is all fun and games until a gun man show up and aim at you. Oh wait.... There was a gun man there! Good job police!!

Bvi love to denounced crime in the news but juve full of people with mark on hiding them face and people dressing up as robbers!! And ofc our local rappers and international dancehall artist singing lyrics about sex drugs violence and gangs to the youths who love it so much! This place really backwards . Please chk banco bizmol YouTube page watch his videos and you will for yourself what he promotes!

    I. Guess this the culture my young people talking about.

Check the profiles of the people who support this kinda stuff. It's usually scandalous women, dudes with big chains and smokers

Does it matter? Are citizens of this country allowed to carry a loaded illegal firearm?
