VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- A man has been arrested by police on Virgin Gorda after he allegedly opened fire on his girlfriend's home following an argument sometime after midnight.
The incident has been confirmed by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), which said the shooting incident occurred on Virgin Gorda shortly after midnight on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
"Preliminary investigations indicate that multiple shots were discharged at a residential property; however, no injuries were reported. One male suspect is currently in police custody."
Police saidi investigations into the matter are ongoing, and further updates will be provided as necessary.
