Lee still expected to pass well north of VI; Now a Cat 2 storm

MIAMI, Florida, USA- According to the National Hurricane Center’s 11:00 AM advisory on Sunday, September 10, 2023, Category 2 Hurricane Lee is 270 miles north-northeast of the Northern Leeward Islands, with maximum sustained wind of 110 mph.

It’s moving 8 mph to the west-northwest.

"... Lee is expected to pass well north of the northern Leeward Islands, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico during the next couple of days." The NHC stated.

"Some strengthening is forecast during the next couple of days," it added.

Sea swells

The NHC also said swells generated by Lee are affecting portions of the Lesser Antilles, the [British] and US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Hispaniola, the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Bahamas, and Bermuda.

It said these swells are likely to cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions.

    It is Soo hot darn we need some rain. Government need to make a law now for construction workers who have to be in this sun for for than 6 hours. Have some compassion
