Kadeem S. Maynard introduced cocaine scheme to mother- Court documents
This is according to documents entered in the United States District Court Southern District of Florida on June 12, 2023, in relation to the guilty plea by Kadeem on Conspiracy to Import Cocaine in the US.
His Mom, Oleanvine, has also changed her plea to guilty and have agreed to cooperate fully with US authorities.
According to court records, between March 16, 2022, and April 28, 2022, Kadeem and co-defendants Andrew A. Fahie and Oleanvine Pickering-Maynard conspired with each other and a DEA confidential source (CS), who the Defendant and his co-defendants believed was a member of the Mexican Sinaloa Cartel, to allow the CS to ship thousands of kilograms of cocaine through the Island of Tortola to the United States in exchange for a percentage of the proceeds from the cocaine sales.
The Defendant and his co-defendants used their connections with, and positions of authority in, the government of the VI to facilitate the CS's drug trafficking scheme.
Kadeem introduced scheme to mother- Court documents
The documents stated that Kadeem introduced the CS to Pickering-Maynard, his mother and then Managing Director of the BVI Ports Authority. Pickering-Maynard then introduced the CS to Fahie, who was then the Premier of the VI.
During various meetings between the CS, Pickering-Maynard, Fahie, and the Defendant, the defendants agreed to allow the CS to port vessels containing 3,000-kilogram loads of cocaine in Tortola for 24-48 hours until the cocaine could be shipped to Puerto Rico en route to the United States.
According to the court document, Fahie agreed to bribe officials managing the ports and airports in furtherance of the scheme, and Pickering-Maynard and Kadeem agreed to obtain the necessary licenses and paperwork authorizing the CS's vessels to port in the VI without suspicion.
Fahie and Pickering-Maynard were arrested in Miami on April 28, 2022, and Kadeem was held in the USVI on the same day.
Maynards expected to be sentenced in August
Earlier this week, the prosecutors removed charges of conspiracy to commit money laundering and attempted money laundering from the indictment the Maynards faced and agreed to recommend leniency at sentencing.
The agreement, however, hinges greatly on his full cooperation with prosecutors in their case against the former premier.
According to the plea agreement, prosecutors determined that Kadeem was a “minor participant” in the criminal activity, and therefore should receive a two-level reduction at sentencing.
He further agreed to forfeit to the United States any property constituting, or derived from, any proceeds obtained, directly or indirectly, as a result of such offence, and any property used, or intended to be used, in any manner or part, to commit, or to facilitate the commission of, such offence, pursuant to Title 21, United States Code, Section 853.
The document further advised that the court may also impose a statutory maximum sentence of up to life imprisonment, followed by a term of supervised release of at least five years and up to a lifetime of supervised release.
Kadeem and his mother each face “a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment of 10 years” unless the judge determines they are “safety valve eligible”, as stated in their plea agreements.
They are now expected to be sentenced on August 21, 2023.

*a***ie has been running drugs through the US for quite a while and doing dirt to others. When a mother tears hit its target you are done for. Can anyone remember a few years back the dude they call Tiger won a large sum of money at the track? Dude step in his house and they damn near shred the man up with the amount of bullets they put in him. Many of you know exactly what I am talking about. Modern slavery takes many forms. The most common are: Human trafficking. The use of violence, threats or coercion to transport, recruit or harbour people in order to exploit them for purposes such as forced prostitution, labour, criminality, marriage or organ removal.

Persons directly and indirectly linked to crime. Persons with immediate family members who have been linked to crime and dishonesty in key positions.

Can a review/audit be done on all persons employed during “Rose’s” tenure? It would be surprising to see if these persons were even interviewed for these jobs. (1) no one was harmed during the offense, (2) the person has little or no history of criminal convictions, (3) the person did not use violence or a gun, (4) the person was not a leader or organizer of the offense, AND (5) the person told the prosecutor all that he knows about the offense.

If I came to my mother with this mess the slap I would get would disconnect my neck!!!! Fahie is best you change your plea and do your shorter time because this looking like you will lose and spend the rest of your life in federal prison! you already messed up, own up to it and try to get less time sir, come back to the BVI and live the rest of your days comfortable in your drug money mansion.
