He is only doing what is required by legislation. Why should the Virgin Islands keep criminals from other territories here? We have our own issues.

Who, but themselves, put them in the position to be abused? They dont know how to leave the abuser? If the abuser is local, where are you deported them to?

@Prophet you sound so illiterate. How do you deport a local? That mek sense? Local(Born here) Expatriate(not from here) hence the reason for the deportation.

So it is exempt for other persons? There was a recent matter where the person was found guilty and she got away. So whats the difference in this young lady position.....because she doesnt know anyone who can speak for her? The BVI is NOT a real place.

When you enter another country as a guest, you cannot break the laws and commit acts of violence against others. She has relatives where she came from, so I am sure they will open their arms to take her back! She has lived out her welcome here, GOODBYE!

People need to know and understand immigration law. She committed a crime and was sent to prison for 3 or more months for her offense. Immigration ordnance/law states this and she can be removed/deported from territory based on those laws as she is not a person deemed to belong to the territory. Its the law, immigration board make the recommendation for removal and the Governor execute it.

If you reside in the territory on a work permit, it is advisable to abide by the laws of the land.

They need to be consistent with deportations. How come the immigration department don't arrest white people who violate the immigration laws or make request to deport them. There is tons of evidence where white people violate and nothing is done to them but as the "beel tire skin" people violate they gots to go. Investigation is needed.

It could be the Caucasian folks you hear talking about deemed to belong to the territory and/or have not been sent to prison for 3 or more months. Get to know the law of the lands, especially immigration ordinance.

They think the BVI is the free for all, I have no problem with anyone from anywhere living in the Territory but you can’t come here and break the laws and expect to continue staying in the Territory. That is fair right? If I go over to the US or anywhere else and break any law, they are going to lock me up and I will be deported right? You can’t go into another man Country and break the law and expect the Country to turn a blind eye.

Ayo think the guv going around the courts and asking for who all committed crimes and not from here so he can deport them? Nope. The documents have to come from somewhere to his office for his approval.

Show me the evidence where the ‘whites’ have served more than 3 months in Motel Balo to be deported. Set ah real Moomoo’s.

Plenty of you that is not from the Territory and is living in the Territory and have done things and is still walking around, don’t get to comfortable because your names is sitting right on the Government’s desk for deportation. It is only a matter of time before you get your deportation letter.

Why haven't there been a task force to catch all the illegals here hiding out, and deport them? I'm sure plenty of people will send in an anonymous letter with a drawing, showing exactly where they are hiding out. We are sick of them taking over our small islands and committing crimes. Give us an address we can send the information to, and I bet the police force will be flooded with information. Maybe they don't want to do the work of catching these illegals.

Perhaps I missed it but to my recollection of other announcements such as this, the receiving country is indicated in the announcement/ decision by the Gov.

@ Guest. No, it’s not the Big Picture. It’s the Big Story. It seems like that particular story has been told to the right people and so it has been placed in the archives of forgetfulness. Only time will tell.

We need to stop burdening our system with the expats that cannot behave. Some of them come in here with mentalities that should prohibit them from being through people. Send all them a$$e$ home if they can't behave! Super nations do it all the time, we should do it more often too! Our jails full of them, from all walks of life, and we out here paying taxes for them to eat and sleep good while we struggling to maintain our households. SEND MORE OF THEM OUT GOVERNOR. As more leave more will come, we will be alright.
