Illegal firearm & ammunition recovered during a routine marine operation

The vessel was brought to a complete stop, and a search was conducted during the operation shortly after midnight. A semi-automatic Glock pistol was recovered along with two magazines containing several rounds of ammunition.
Three individuals were found on board and were transported to the Road Town Police Station for questioning.
Swift action is required to keep illegal weapons off the streets
Acting Commissioner of Police Jacqueline E. Vanterpool commended the officers involved.
“The swift actions of our Marine Officers highlight the vigilance and professionalism required to keep illegal firearms off our streets. Each weapon seized represents lives potentially saved,” she said.
The RVIPF, the Acting Commissioner added, will continue to pursue every avenue to protect communities and ensure the safety of the Virgin Islands.
Investigations into this matter are ongoing, and further updates will be provided as enquiries continue.
The RVIPF is urging anyone with information about illegal weapons or suspicious activity to confidentially contact the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339 or anonymously via Crime Stoppers at 800-8477 (TIPS) or (284) 800-8477 from overseas.

If they are not from here can you let us know so we can all say send them back where they came from.
If they from here best not mention it, unless they are business people with kids then we can all jump in to defend them.
What else are they supposed to do. Minimum wage at $7.25. Businesses finding things hard.
