Illegal firearm & ammunition recovered during a routine marine operation
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has confirmed the recovery of an illegal firearm and ammunition by the Marine Branch yesterday, Wednesday, August 20, 2025, during a routine patrol.

Jost van Dyke, VI- The body of a female was discovered at sea off Jost van Dyke on Thursday night, September 5, 2024 by Marine Officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) and Virgin Islands Search and Rescue (VISAR).
Mentally ill youth nearly drowns self near RT ferry dock
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI– A 20-year-old male patient of the Behavioural Ward of Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital was rescued from the waters adjacent to the Road Town Ferry Terminal, thanks to the heroic efforts of officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).
