‘Hoodies’ banned @ ESHS effective Feb 14, 2022
The restriction was communicated by the School’s acting Deputy Principal, Mr Cecil A. Hodge in an email blast to parents and guardians, along with students at the facility.
“Jackets have become a safety concern for our institution as much time is spent asking students to remove their jacket hood off their head,” he said.
“A student wearing a hood and a mask makes them unidentifiable, which creates a safety risk.”
Students remove hoods & put it back on - Mr Hodge
He added that upon request, students who remove the hood would usually place it hack over their heads outside of the presence of teachers as such, effective February 14, 2020, the wearing of hooded Jackets is now prohibited.
In many universities and schools, students often wear hooded jackets to stay warned amidst the presence of high-powered air conditioning units and having to sit in class for long hours.
The acting Principal said in the interim, AC units in classrooms would be regulated to an acceptable temperature that meets the conform of students.

You're = You are. Your sentence should read: you're killing yourself.
Not trying to bash, just to correct for future use.
This is an example of a few bad apples spoiling the whole basket.
These individuals I see going to these so call school ain't look nothing like students to me.
I notice everyone talk about who travel to first class countries, I wonder if they see the students dress for school, well the decent ones I must say.
I can remember the boys use to have to cut their hair unless it was apart of his/her religion e.g rastafarian, Muslim etc no ah days these students are wearing their pants brow their ass, skirts are so short they can't bend down properly, long hair plat up for BOYS disgraceful. When u allow them and accept it as the new norm, what you parents, teachers and government think the attitude of these so call student would be at the end of the day.
