BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI- There has yet been another gun-related incident at a bar in the Virgin Islands. This time it was at a bar in Baughers Bay on Tuesday night, October 7, 2025.
According to reports reaching our News Centre, it was around 11:30 PM when at least four heavily armed masked men approached patrons outside the bar.
Several shots were reportedly fired; however, no one was injured.
It is unclear if anything was taken by the gunmen.
Police are said to be investigating.
Second attack on a bar by gunmen within a week
It was only on Saturday, October 4, 2025, that gunmen entered a popular bar in the vicinity of Tortola Pier Park in Road Town, and robbed its patrons.
One patron was shot and is still hospitalised.
The attack on the bar last night comes as the discussion intensifies about whether businesses persons should be allowed to carry licenced firearms.

We either will need to give permition to some responsively business owners fire arms to help defend their lives and business interest or they, the business owners, help to foot the cost of armed RVIPF officers present especially at night.
If at this time this cannot be done, then a surficient number of British arm guards from the UK should be considered in my opinion by Governoz, Daniel Pruce, if this trend continues happening at this spiking pace in the B.V.I, lately.
However, I am not surprised because know that among people everywhere in this world when righteousness has been spurned wickedness taked over, even at a faster pace as expected.
start wearing bullet proof vests and bullet proof hats on your heads.
A year ain’t gone and them done hurting. Might as well just go look honest work then. Because if they done broke they were just wasting their time.

The most you will do is what everybody else will probably do which is RUN AND HIDE. I believe if you end up hiding by the shelf with the BAYGON, you may try spraying the shooter yes. BUT aint ni spraying them with bullets! You see where I’ coming from?
Never thought our precious country would come to this. It has to stop. People start talking. If you know who they are turn them in because you could be saving their lives.
Also, you or a family member could be at an event when they strike and your family could be the one to lose their life. Don’t wait for that to happen. Let’s get together as a strong community and wipe out this crime spree. We have had enough.
We need cameras all over the island. Every corner they turn find them on camera. If this is what it takes, do it!
ALSO, WHY ARE THERE SO MANY VEHICLES OUT HERE WITH DARK TINT ON THE WINDOWS BOTH PRIVATE AND RENTALS. We have to stop being so slack with the laws. Enforce them!! Stop being a lawless society!!
In future please name the bar in BB, it's exact location and the time span of the crime that began at 1130pm but apparently never ended!!
Also definitely no gun permits for business owners in the BVI.
