ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The new grade one students of Althea Scatliffe Primary School in Road Town received a treat today when Su Thomas, Commercial Manager of Digicel BVI visited their class rooms to wish them well on their first steps in education.

The classes stood and greeted the visitor with a composed good afternoon greeting whilst Ms. Thomas praised the students on their good manners and asked them to be seated.

She stated her delight at being invited into the school to meet them and encouraged them to learn all they could, and of course to behave themselves for their new teachers!

All four grade one classes were treated to a Digicel school start up kit to help them settle in to their new classes.

Ms. Thomas wished the students a good start for the beginning of a great educational future and spent some time chatting with the students.

Afterwards, Ms. Thomas thanked the principal, teachers, and administration of the school for making it possible to come in to the school to meet the grade one classes.
