VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- A woman from Virgin Gorda has been arrested and charged for allegedly stealing money from a woman’s purse left in a washroom at St Thomas Bay, Virgin Gorda.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, Nathalie Creque was placed on station bail after the money reported stolen was located in a freezer at her place of work.

The incident allegedly took place on Monday, November 2, 2020.

Our newsroom was informed that a woman had used a female washroom at St Thomas Bay jetty where she forgot her bag containing a purse with $920.00 in a white envelope.

She said when she returned for her bag she noticed the money was gone but observed the suspect leaving the washroom area.

The matter was reported to police who reportedly questioned the suspect and conducted a search.

The money fitting the description in the white envelope was allegedly found in the base of a white deep freezer at her workplace which is a bar at the ferry dock.

Ms Creque was subsequently placed under arrest on Suspicion of Theft. She was then granted $5000 bail with one signed surety.

I don't really care who knows who I am..I am not saying on her side for what she did .. it was wrong yes but the bible say if there is one with out sin let them cast the first stone..there is not one of us that is righteous..we all fall short the glory of God so before making judgement on others look at our own life first think on the way God would treat us everytime we sin the remarks we on here making everytime we sin how would we feel if God judge us or expose us by our sins in public think on that how would we feel ? ?

Can't trust some These Young girls....It's always better to be good, nice and honest than trying to be slick and smart...I'm sure if she had give the lady her money, the lady would have been very appreciative and might have given her a $50..00. Instead of this embarrassment.

Virgin Gorda was always a laid back quiet Island. As soon as the down Island people start coming over here, the Island went downhill. Anegada and Jost Von Dyke, don’t allow the down Island people destroy your Island.
